Welcome to the 2023-2024 school year! I am so excited to serve as your PTA President this year alongside 120 PTA Board Members, and committed parents like you.
For 97 years, the Bradfield PTA’s purpose has been to bring parents, teachers, staff, and children together by sponsoring events, activities, and projects that enhance the educational experience of each student.
How Do I Get Involved?
When Bradfield parents volunteer, it allows our teachers and administrators to focus on helping our kids learn!
Giving your time not only helps our school, it also gives you a chance to meet other parents and see your child at school. The best way to do this is by picking up a regular cafeteria shift! Our lunchroom runs on parent power and it’s also a great way to make new friends! Throughout the year, Room Moms will also share many volunteer opportunities with you to help in your child’s classroom.
The PTA also has a fundraising focus to bridge the gap between tax dollars that remain in the district and what our school needs to maintain its high standard of excellence. Our goal for fundraising is to provide our teachers and administrators with the resources and tools they need to inspire and educate our children.
Last year, corporate and family donations funded essential programs that directly benefited our children such as Passport to Spanish, STEAM initiatives, and the Bradfield Garden Curriculum. It also provided critical salary support and training for our outstanding teachers and instructional assistants.
The easiest way to support Bradfield is through our Annual Family Giving Campaign that takes place during Back to School Sign Up. You can also donate by going to our PTA Website and clicking on Family Giving. The funds we raise through this campaign and annual events such as Reading Rodeo, Carnival, and Auction, are not subject to recapture and stay right here at Bradfield.
On behalf of the students, faculty, and families of Bradfield Elementary, I want to thank you in advance for your partnership in the coming year. I am excited for another fantastic year at Bradfield Elementary.
